Choose your challenge
The traditional Peaks to Prairie route involves an 8.8 mile run leg, a 43 mile bicycle leg, and a 23 mile paddling leg, in that order. Competitors can choose between the triathlon that covers these three legs, or a duathlon that covers the first two legs only.
Choose your friends
The fastest way to run this gauntlet is to provide a fresh body for each leg. We encourage you to pull together a group and take on the adventure as a team! There are categories for male, female, mixed, and family teams; open and masters age divisions; and sport or racing qualifications (based on the length of the boat used). If you are feeling up for the ultimate challenge, consider participating as a soloist: we can assure you of a rewarding experience that pushes your limits!
